Directory of County PSAPs
In Pennsylvania, each county is responsible for providing 911 service in their jurisdiction. Some counties may combine resources to meet this requirement by participating in a regional 911 system or a regional Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).
There are currently 61 PSAPs serving the Commonwealth’s 67 counties. County PSAPs often have useful information on their websites to address non-emergency needs such as placing a test call to 911, verifying your address, or other general inquiries.
Provided below is contact information (website links and non-emergency phone numbers) for each PSAP, in alphabetical order by county.
REMEMBER: You should only dial 911 in emergency situations that require an immediate response by police, fire, or emergency medical services. All other inquiries (like making a test call or requesting a copy of a 911 call) should be handled through the non-emergency methods.
